Two Churches Leave Mennonite Church
In the light of the current areas of concern within Mennonite Church Canada, some are saying it is probably for the best that two Mennonite churches have decided to leave their provincial branch of Mennonite Church Canada. The names of these two churches who would not compromise their beliefs are now faded out on the current church list here:

Mennonite church in Abbotsford votes to leave B.C. congregation
December 27, 2007Two Mennonite churches - including one in Abbotsford - have voted to leave Mennonite Church B.C. due to its restructuring plan, according to Canadian Mennonite.
The newsletter, posted on www.Canadianmennonite.org, says the leadership of MC B.C. asked all its member churches to sign a new covenant document that includes a common commitment to six areas of doctrine and practice.
